The library of the Weserburg Museum für moderne Kunst contains approximately 10,000 volumes. A selected part of the library is integrated into the exhibition area. Comfortable seating areas provide an opportunity to linger, read, or engage in conversation. Large tables and free Wi-Fi also enable concentrated work.

The library offers a special ambience for various occasions. Lectures, talks, concerts and many other public and private events are regularly held here. The room also has all the technical media needed for conferences or workshops.

Hans Otte. Klanghaus

The Klanghaus is one of the Weserburg’s most spectacular spaces. In one of the four gables, it is as wide as the building itself. High above the city’s rooftops, it offers a unique view of the Hanseatic city’s panorama on both sides of the Weser River. The name of this unusual exhibition space honors the famous Bremen artist and composer Hans Otte, who created a sound installation especially for this location when the museum was founded.
