ERIK STEINBRECHER ZUR KASSE BITTE

ERIK STEINBRECHER ZUR KASSE BITTE is an experiment lasting over six months for which the artist Erik Steinbrecher sets up his studio in the exhibition space of the Centre for Artists’ Publications and is regularly present there. Erik Steinbrecher becomes a “living sculpture” (in progress) in a studio open to the public. The experiment represents a process, i.e. a process extending over a certain period of time, in which something arises or takes place. The artistic installation of the studio situation presents both the artist Erik Steinbrecher himself and his artistic practice.
