The museum library contains some 10,000 volumes. The focus is on publications on the fine arts since the 1960s, catalogs of museum collections and private collections in Germany and abroad, as well as numerous art magazines and handbooks on the Weserburg’s current exhibitions.

A selected part of the library is integrated into the exhibition tour. Comfortable seating areas offer the opportunity to linger, read or talk. Large tables and free WLAN also enable concentrated work. All visitors are cordially invited to research, browse or simply linger. Additional catalogs and journals from the Weserburg library can be searched via an in-house database.
