How to Find Us
The Weserburg is located between the two arms of the Weser on a holm, the so-called Teerhof. It takes only several minutes to walk from downtown Bremen through the historical Old Town and arrive at the museum.

From November 2024 until approximately February/March 2025, access to the Weserburg Museum für moderne Kunst via the Bürgermeister-Smidt Bridge will be very limited due to construction work.

From the Neustadt
On foot / by bicycle: via the Bürgermeister-Smidt Bridge or the Teerhof
Tram: Lines 1, 14 / Stop Westerstraße
Bus: Line 63 / Stop Westerstraße
Arriving by Car
If arriving via the A27 highway, take the Bremen-Vahr exit. If you are coming via the A1 highway, take the Bremen-Hemelingen exit. Follow Bremen’s parking guidance system to the city center and park at the Pressehaus parking garage, which is just 300 meters from the museum.
