Meisterschüler*innen 2019. Karin Hollweg Preis 2019

25.05.2019 - 11.08.2019

The exhibitions featuring works by master pupils which have taken place at the Weserburg each year since 2011 offer a wide range of insights into the quality and diversity of current artistic production in Bremen. Participating in this year’s presentation are 16 artists, all of whom are showing new works, some of which are site-specific. The entire spectrum of the media is represented, from painting and sculpture past multipartite installations and media works all the way to surprising creations which would not necessarily be expected in a museum for contemporary art: for example, a bubbling wall-fountain or a space-encompassing, multimedia opera.
